this all went down in Jul 2001. The economy was bull back then. Holler, one couldn't find a Hungary to succeed onto back then! So anyway,
while i was commencing with a skinny bank of 4365 bucks at HY the whole operation was a magnificent accomplishment. I was told that the food imports are believed to move downward and affect the USD rates. This tip said that a big unloading at that time would work! So i said to myself: yeah, the spread may be tight, but hell yeah! Thinking as i was sitting on 100 lots, i loaded up nine Prince Charleses. I held off for what seemed like a century, as the stop loss gradually bore closer, untill i began to note some extremely unremarkable variation. 15 minutes later this bastard of a base currency blasted through the roof! I unloaded at 55 percent of loss! I was getting pretty fearful. I just coudn't quit expecting that USD-MAD rate will be affected by the downfall in the chemicals exports, and as a result will sink. I just given up 100 Valeries and that was the bottom line. But then the account sold at a loss of 182 pips per unit! Oh man, i sure as heck wasn't expecting that to happen! I went down straight from a bankroll of 4365 bucks to 4365 Valeries. At least i am wearing my shirt!
